In the last decade, the Limarí Valley has experienced an explosive growth, from 93 hectares of vineyards planted in 1995 to 1,667 today.
In 2005 Concha y Toro purchased the Francisco de Aguirre Winery and its vineyards, creating a new and exciting project; Viña Maycas del Limarí. Through careful vineyard mapping we have been able to plant what grows best in these fresh, mineral terroirs, creating wines which express our new terrain perfectly.
